(Baonghean.vn) - On August 30th, the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association visited and presented gifts to students and people in flood-affected areas of Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts.

In the first phase (August 30th), the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association visited and directly distributed 6 tons of rice, 2,000 notebooks, 300 sets of clothing, and 30 million VND in cash to students and households in Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts.

In Tuong Duong district, the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association donated gifts to students at four schools (Tam Hop Ethnic Boarding Junior High School, Xa Luong Kindergarten, Luu Kien Primary School, and Luu Kien Ethnic Boarding Junior High School), including 3 tons of rice, 1,000 notebooks, and 200 sets of clothes.

In Ky Son district, the Association donated 3 tons of rice, 1,000 notebooks, and 100 sets of clothing to students at kindergartens and primary schools in Muong Xen town. They also provided 30 million VND to six families in Tay Son, Muong Ai, and Chieu Luu communes who suffered heavy losses and lost family members in the recent floods.

To carry out a charity program to give gifts to students and people in flood-affected areas, the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association mobilized its Executive Committee to donate books, rice, and cash with a total value of nearly 300 million VND.

According to the plan, in the second phase (September 3rd), the Women Entrepreneurs Association will distribute gifts to students and disadvantaged people in Con Cuong and Quy Hop districts.

Earlier, the Women Entrepreneurs Association directly donated 100 million VND to Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Boarding School.
