Giving gifts to students and people in flooded areas of Tuong Duong and Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 30, the Nghe An Province Women's Business Association visited and gave gifts to students and people in flood-affected areas in Tuong Duong and Ky Son.
In the first phase (August 30), Nghe An Province Women's Business Association visited and directly gave 6 tons of rice, 2,000 notebooks, 300 sets of clothes, and 30 million VND in cash to students and households in Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts.

In Tuong Duong district, Nghe An Province Women's Business Association gave gifts to students at 4 schools (Tam Hop Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Xa Luong Kindergarten, Luu Kien Primary School and Luu Kien Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities) including 3 tons of rice, 1,000 notebooks and 200 sets of clothes.

In Ky Son district, the Association presented 3 tons of rice, 1,000 notebooks, and 100 sets of clothes to students of Muong Xen Kindergarten and Primary School. At the same time, 30 million VND was presented to 6 families in Tay Son, Muong Ai, Chieu Luu communes... who suffered heavy damage and had some people die in the recent flood.

To carry out the charity program, giving gifts to students and people in flood-hit areas, the Nghe An Women's Business Association mobilized the Association's Executive Committee to support and donate books, rice and cash with a total value of nearly 300 million VND.

According to the plan, in the second phase (September 3), the Women's Business Association will give gifts to students and disadvantaged people in Con Cuong and Quy Hop districts.
Previously, the Women's Business Association directly donated 100 million VND to Con Cuong Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
