Nghe An had no traffic accidents during the 3-day holiday
(Baonghean.vn) - Authorities in Nghe An have punished nearly 900 violations.
On the afternoon of September 4, the Traffic Police Department (PC08, Nghe An Provincial Police) said that during the 3-day National Day holiday (from September 1 to September 3), traffic safety and order in Nghe An were stable, with no traffic jams or other unexpected incidents. Traffic police statistics show that during these 3 days, there were no traffic accidents in Nghe An.
The Traffic Police organized 273 patrols and inspections, and made administrative records of 896 cases. Of these, 254 cases were car drivers (passenger cars: 74, trucks: 134, cars: 46); 642 cases were motorbikes. The authorities temporarily seized 10 cars and 138 motorbikes; and at the same time, issued decisions to fine 702 cases, transferring nearly 420 million VND to the treasury.

According to the leader of PC08, of these, more than 300 cases were penalized for the fault of people sitting on motorbikes - motorbikes, electric bicycles when participating in traffic without wearing helmets; 87 cases of driving motor vehicles without a driver's license; 51 cases of not having a vehicle registration certificate; 10 cases of carrying more people than the prescribed number; 20 cases of violating regulations on alcohol concentration; 22 cases of stopping and parking in violation of regulations; 19 cases of not obeying traffic light signals and 30 cases of exceeding the prescribed speed.
National statistics show that during the 3-day holiday, there were 83 traffic accidents nationwide, killing 46 people and injuring 53 others./.
