Nghe An had no traffic accidents during the 3-day holiday.
(Baonghean.vn) - Authorities in Nghe An have punished nearly 900 violations.
On the afternoon of September 4, the Traffic Police Department (PC08, Nghe An Provincial Police) said that during the 3-day National Day holiday (from September 1 to September 3), traffic order and safety in Nghe An were stable, with no traffic jams or other unexpected incidents. Statistics from the Traffic Police showed that during these 3 days, there were no traffic accidents in Nghe An.
The Traffic Police organized 273 patrols, controlled, and recorded 896 administrative cases. Of these, 254 cases were car drivers (passenger cars: 74, trucks: 134, cars: 46); 642 cases were motorbikes. The authorities temporarily detained 10 cars and 138 motorbikes; and at the same time, decided to fine 702 cases, transferring nearly 420 million VND to the treasury.

According to the leader of PC08, among these, there were more than 300 cases of fines for not wearing helmets on motorbikes and electric bicycles; 87 cases of driving without a driver's license; 51 cases of not having a vehicle registration certificate; 10 cases of carrying more people than the prescribed number; 20 cases of violating regulations on alcohol concentration; 22 cases of stopping and parking in violation of regulations; 19 cases of not obeying traffic light signals and 30 cases of exceeding the prescribed speed.
National statistics show that during the 3-day holiday, there were 83 traffic accidents nationwide, killing 46 people and injuring 53 others./.
