The backup camera at the gold shop in Dong Nai recorded the thief as a man approximately 1.6 meters tall, wearing a face mask and a wide-brimmed hat.

Early in the morning of October 3rd, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen (33 years old) and her husband were sleeping in their gold shop, which also served as their family home, on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street (Buu Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City) when they heard strange noises, suspecting a burglary.

Upon turning on the lights to check, they discovered the jewelry display case had been opened, and approximately 100 taels of gold were found inside.Rings, necklaces, bracelets... are gone. One of the iron bars in the adjacent window has been sawed off, and the outer roller shutter door has also been broken.

TThe gold shop had more than 10 surveillance cameras installed, but the recording device disappeared.Checking the backup mini camera recording on a memory card, Ms. Duyen and her husband discovered that a man, approximately 1.6 meters tall, wearing a face mask and a wide-brimmed hat, had broken in and stolen their property.

The camera recorded that the thief had the assistance of an accomplice outside. After stealing the gold, he searched for the camera's recording device before escaping.
