Teacher hospitalized after being hit in the face with stones by unknown assailant.
While Duyen's daughter was driving her along the road, a man suddenly threw a rock at Duyen's face, shattering her sunglasses and leaving her face covered in blood.
On December 1st, the Tan Hoa Police Station (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) extracted security camera footage to verify and investigate the case of a female teacher in the area who was injured after being hit in the face with stones by an unknown assailant.
The victim was Ms. Pham Thi Thu Duyen (50 years old), a literature teacher at Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School in Tan Hoa ward.
At noon on November 30th, after finishing her teaching duties, Ms. Duyen was being driven home from school by her daughter on a motorbike. While waiting at a red light on National Highway 1, near the Tin Nghia gas station (KP.5, Tan Hoa Ward), a person on a motorbike suddenly sped up about 4 meters in front of them, stopped, and turned around to look at Ms. Duyen.
When the traffic light turned green, Ms. Duyen's daughter drove her car forward, level with the suspect, when suddenly the suspect threw a rock at Ms. Duyen's face, shattering her sunglasses and leaving her face covered in blood. The suspect then fled.

Ms. Duyen was rushed to the emergency room with a laceration on her face, a fractured nasal bone, a deviated nose, and significant blood loss.
Initial investigations by security forces revealed that the suspect who threw the stone at Ms. Duyen's face was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and did not cover his face.
Ms. Duyen is currently receiving treatment at Thong Nhat Hospital (Dong Nai province) with a bruised and swollen left eye and a minor laceration near the bridge of her nose.
