Teacher hospitalized after being hit in the face by a rock thrown by a stranger
Her daughter was driving Ms. Duyen on the street when suddenly a man took out a rock he had prepared and threw it at Ms. Duyen's face, breaking her sunglasses and leaving her face covered in blood.
On December 1, Tan Hoa Ward Police (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) extracted security camera footage to verify and investigate the case of a female teacher in the area being hit in the face with a rock by a stranger, causing injury.
The victim was Ms. Pham Thi Thu Duyen (50 years old), a literature teacher at Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School in Tan Hoa ward.
At noon on November 30, after finishing her class, Ms. Duyen was taken home by her daughter on a motorbike from school. While waiting for the red light on Highway 1, near the Tin Nghia gas station (KP.5, Tan Hoa Ward), suddenly a person on a motorbike rushed forward about 4 meters, then stopped, turned around and looked at Ms. Duyen.
When the green light turned on, Ms. Duyen's daughter drove the car up to the same level as the subject. Suddenly, the subject took out a rock he had hidden and threw it at Ms. Duyen's face, causing her sunglasses to shatter and her face to be covered in blood. The subject then escaped.
Ms. Duyen is still being treated at Thong Nhat Hospital (Dong Nai). |
Ms. Duyen was taken to the emergency room with a laceration on her face, a cracked bridge of her nose, a crooked nose, and a lot of blood loss.
Initial security camera footage determined that the suspect who threw the rock at Ms. Duyen's face was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and did not cover his face.
Currently, Ms. Duyen is still being treated at Thong Nhat Hospital (Dong Nai) with a bruised, swollen left eye and a slight tear near the bridge of her nose.
