Coach Rajagobal Krishnasamy, who led Malaysia to win the 2010 AFF Cup, said that the Vietnamese team under the leadership of coach Park Hang-seo is not an easy opponent to defeat.

Rajagobal is the most successful coach in the history of Malaysian football in the 21st decade. He led the U23 Malaysia team to win the 2009 SEA Games. A year later, he led the national team to win the AFF Cup after defeating Vietnam in the semi-finals and Thailand in the finals.

Coach Rajagobal Krishnasamy once led Malaysia to win the AFF Cup 2010.

Current Malaysia coach Tan Chang Hoe was Rajagobal's assistant. "I am very proud of Tan's achievements with the national team. He performed his duties very sincerely without any other thoughts. Tan was not only sincere but also worked hard to achieve success," said Rajagobal.

The veteran Malaysian strategist has faith in coach Tan Chang Hoe’s current team, saying that the national team will win the AFF Cup, but also believes that Vietnam are not an easy opponent to defeat. Rajagobal said that he is aware of the growth of the Vietnamese team under the leadership of Park Hang-seo.

“I am confident that the Malaysian players can win the championship, but Vietnam is still a difficult obstacle. They are not an easy team to beat at the moment.”

According to Mr. Rajagobal, the Malaysian team has improved its performance after defeating Thailand, which brings great hope to Tan Chang Hoe and his team. "It's time for Malaysia to win the AFF Cup," Mr. Rajagobal concluded.

The first leg of the AFF Cup final will take place at 7:45 p.m. today, December 11 at Bukit Jalil.
