Malaysian football legend: The Vietnamese national team is not easy to beat.

Rajagobal is the most successful coach in Malaysian football history in the 21st decade. He led the Malaysian U23 team to victory at the 2009 SEA Games, and a year later he led the national team to victory in the AFF Cup after defeating Vietnam in the semi-finals and Thailand in the final.

Coach Rajagobal Krishnasamy previously led Malaysia to victory in the 2010 AFF Cup.

Malaysia's current coach, Tan Chang Hoe, used to be Rajagobal's assistant. "I am very proud of Mr. Tan's achievements with the national team. He fulfilled his duties sincerely without any ulterior motives. Tan was not only sincere but also worked hard to achieve success," said Rajagobal.

The veteran Malaysian strategist expressed confidence in coach Tan Chang Hoe's current team, believing his country would win the AFF Cup, but also acknowledged that Vietnam is not an easy opponent to beat. Rajagobal stated that he is aware of the growing strength of the Vietnamese team under the leadership of Park Hang-seo.

"I'm confident the Malaysian players can win the championship, but Vietnam is still a tough obstacle. They're not an easy team to beat right now."

According to Rajagobal, the Malaysian team has improved its form after defeating Thailand, which gives Tan Chang Hoe's team great hope. "It's time for Malaysia to win the AFF Cup," Rajagobal concluded.

The first leg of the AFF Cup final will take place at 7:45 PM today, December 11th, at Bukit Jalil Stadium.
