(Baonghean.vn) - When arrested, Xon confessed that because of difficult family circumstances and needing money to buy warm clothes for his children on cold days, Xon took the risk of stealing a chainsaw from a fellow villager.

On the afternoon of December 28, the Ky Son District Police (Nghe An) issued an order to temporarily detain Luong Kham Xon (born in 1988) in Xieng Tam village, My Ly commune (Ky Son) for theft. At the investigation agency, Xon confessed to all his thefts.

Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. on December 12, 2018, Luong Kham Xon went to the house of a man named Phong in the same village and stole a chainsaw worth about 9 million VND. After successfully committing the theft, Xon brought the evidence home to hide, and 2 days later, Xon sold it to Mr. Lo Van Ty in the same My Ly commune for 350,000 VND. Xon stated that the money from selling the chainsaw was used to buy clothes for himself and warm clothes for his children.

Currently, Ky Son District Police are completing the case file to bring the subject to justice according to the law.
