A man in Nghe An province who stole a chainsaw claimed he did it to "buy warm clothes for his child."
(Baonghean.vn) - When arrested, Xón confessed that due to difficult family circumstances and the need for money to buy warm clothes for his children to wear on cold days, he took a risk and stole a gasoline-powered chainsaw from a fellow villager.
On the afternoon of December 28th, the Ky Son District Police (Nghe An province) issued an arrest warrant for Luong Kham Xon (born in 1988) from Xieng Tam village, My Ly commune (Ky Son district) for the crime of theft. At the police station, Xon confessed to all his theft activities.

According to the report, at approximately 8 PM on December 12, 2018, Luong Kham Xon went to the house of a man named Phong in the same village and stole a gasoline-powered chainsaw worth about 9 million VND. After successfully committing the theft, Xon took the stolen goods home and hid them. Two days later, he sold them to Mr. Lo Van Ty in My Ly commune for 350,000 VND. Xon stated that he used the money from selling the chainsaw to buy clothes for himself and warm clothes for his child.
The Ky Son District Police are currently finalizing the case file to bring the suspect to justice according to the law.
