(Baonghean.vn) - Which major and university should you choose? Choose based on your passion or your parents' wishes?... A series of questions and concerns of high school students were answered in the Future Calls program that recently took place at Thanh Chuong I High School.

It has become a tradition that for nearly 2 years now, young people from many high schools in Vinh city have continued to organize the Future Calls program. The location of this program is at Thanh Chuong I High School with the participation of more than 1,500 students in Dung town (Thanh Chuong).
Mai Chien Vi Thien, a student of class 10A4, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted - Head of the program's Organizing Committee, said that this year, the program is called "W + S = F". W, S, F are the first letters of Work, Soul and Future, respectively, with the desire to affirm: The future is not only decided by work and study (Work) but also by thoughts, feelings, and questions that need to be answered (Soul).
According to Thien, to prepare for more than 3 hours of conversation and dialogue, the members of the Organizing Committee had to plan and prepare for 4 months. Especially in the last week, the members went directly to Thanh Chuong I High School to receive more than 1,000 questionnaires from students to classify and arrange into groups of questions used in the program.

The program is divided into two main parts: Work Call and Soul Call. Work Call provides advice on studying and future orientation, specifically advising on choosing a university, career orientation, and talking about young people's dreams and passions. Soul Call is a part that discusses student thoughts, expressing pressures, worries, and sadness in studying and family.
Through the program, the organizers hope to bring the latest information about exams, opportunities to find scholarships to study abroad, and solve problems related to studying and soft skills. Most importantly, the organizers want to send a message to young people that they need to be active, proactive, master, grasp, and handle situations related to their own future path.
The future depends on initiative
As one of the three speakers of the program, Le Ngoc Hieu - the founder of Future Calls shared that most students and parents in districts and communes still take lightly or do not fully understand the practice of soft skills, an extremely important thing that greatly affects the future of each young person.
Especially in the current technological era, when all distances are almost erased thanks to the Internet, searching for information and self-training is quite easy. However, not all young people know how to approach it.

Therefore, the Future Calls program was formed with the goal of helping students orient their careers, develop soft skills, promote their strengths; build a positive youth environment in districts and communes where there is a lack of social community activities for students. In the near future, Hieu and his friends will plan to organize similar programs in other districts of Nghe An.
Mr. Le Xuan Huong - Principal of Thanh Chuong I High School said that the Future Calls program initially inspired many students of the school. Many students became bold when participating in exchanges, asking questions, discussing with guests... and believed that these were good signs from the students.
According to Mr. Huong, the program is not only meaningful for the students of the school but also has an impact on the students of the Future Calls organizing committee. The program is an opportunity for students to train themselves to become more active and proactive in activities that create value for the community and society, thereby entering life with a more responsible mindset./.
Future Calls is a non-profit program organized annually by young people with the aim of helping high school students in Nghe An province orient their future, fuel their passion, and achieve their desired path.
The program has gone through 3 seasons in different districts of Nghe An, attracting many students to participate with useful sharing from guests with a lot of experience and life experiences.
