"Being vegetarian helps me see things more positively"

- The last time you appeared was in a music show in memory of the late musician An Thuyen - your most precious and closest teacher?

Yes! Teacher An Thuyen is the person who played a very important role in my singing career. Without him, there would be no Ho Quynh Huong like today. Perhaps, at present, I am doing some kind of job in Ha Long, Quang Ninh.

Whenever I encountered difficulties, I always received encouragement from my teacher. He always called me "My little Quynh Huong flower". Thanks to that, I always strongly overcame all the storms in showbiz.

- What memories about teacher An Thuyen can you never forget?

Everyone loved him but also feared him because he was very strict. But he always pampered me and treated me like a daughter. He also said he was very happy to have discovered me.

There is one memory about my teacher that I will never forget. That day, after finishing school, I asked the school for permission to go out and serve more audiences. However, according to the rules, teacher An Thuyen did not allow me to do that.

At that time, I was angry with the teacher and texted my friend but sent it to the wrong number. After that, the teacher didn't say anything and had to apologize. After this, the teacher allowed me to go out and serve more audiences.

- What is the reason you appear less in public during this time?

I am a unique person. Art is a passion that never stops, but I always explore my other instincts. When I have some investment capital from singing, I spend money on all kinds of businesses.

Currently, I am also a vegetarian so I opened a vegetarian restaurant to encourage people to stay healthy. Luckily, I also met many people who helped me so everything went smoothly. Besides singing, I spend a lot of time on business and other hobbies so people will probably see me less.

The female singer is increasingly young, beautiful and peaceful in life.

- Is your life now very peaceful because you are a vegetarian?

I started being a vegetarian about ten years ago. But I think it's very natural. People say I have some kind of affinity for it, so that's why I'm like that.

I find that being a vegetarian is good for my health and makes me feel calmer. There is no reason why I should not do such a good thing.

- Since becoming a vegetarian, do you feel lighter and more peaceful?

Yes. I feel that if I did not become a vegetarian, my life would not be as easy as it is now. It would be difficult for me to have a quiet space for myself. Since becoming a vegetarian, I do not hate anyone, and I see things in a more positive light. I see myself changing from year to year.

Before, I could be upset about other people's shortcomings. But now, I look at the advantages of each person because I understand that not everyone is perfect. Therefore, I feel my life is getting happier.

Before, my happiness did not last more than 1 day, now, my sadness cannot last more than 1 day. I feel very peaceful in my soul.

- If you don't appear much, are you afraid the audience will forget you?

The happiest thing for an artist is not that the audience will remember them, but what they have done while they are still there. When you are born as an artist, you just need to do your best. I don't think others have to think about me. When someone else sings my song, I feel very happy.

Ho Quynh Huong wants to thank her "ex-lover" Ha Dung for what happened in the past.

- What about the intention of finding a man for yourself?

I am just like everyone else and I really want that. But maybe, I have to wait for my destiny. Let everything happen naturally. Coming together by force or effort will not have a good result and will hurt many people. Currently, my life is very happy.

- You are not in love with anyone now?

I'm still single now (laughs).

- Artists are often sentimental, are you afraid of love because of the past wound with Ha Dung?

During that time, it took me a while to regain balance in my life. But I also understood that there is nothing that time cannot erase. It has been a long time since I last saw that person. I also heard that person had a happy life, so I was very happy and joyful for them.

For me, at present, I know what path I have to take so I am not affected by the past. Looking back, I want to thank what has passed. Because without them, I probably would not be where I am today.

Ho Quynh Huong is still waiting for her man to appear.

- Currently, are you and Mr. Ha Dung still friends?

Since the incident, I have never seen that person again. If I met him now, I would probably be very happy. He was not only a friend but also a brother. I am confident that I can smile brightly when I see him again because I am no longer entangled with the past.

- Living alone, do you ever feel lonely?

Sometimes I feel lonely too. Just because I am calm doesn’t mean I am like a rock. I am still sad, happy and have many other emotions. Sometimes I wonder why I don’t have a man by my side like everyone else. But everything has its downside and I am waiting for my destiny.

- What kind of man do you need?

I just want someone who knows how to listen and understand. I am quite a person and do not want to be constrained or forced. I think it is best for everyone to be free and live happily.
