Former Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the Economic Department of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; 55-Year Party Membership Badge; First-Class Resistance War Medal and many other prestigious awards from the Party and the State.
After a period of illness, despite the dedicated care from doctors, nurses, and family, due to his advanced age and frail health, he passed away at 8:15 AM on January 12, 2019 (corresponding to the 7th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dog), at the age of 81.
The wake will take place from 3 PM on January 12, 2019; the funeral service will be held at 8 AM on January 13, 2019 at the family residence, No. 8, Alley 1, Tran Thu Do Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City. The procession will depart at 8:30 AM on January 13, 2019.
Cremation will take place at the Hoan Vu Crematorium, Bac Son commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province.
Buried at Con Tuc Cemetery, Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City.
