At around 2:00 p.m. on January 16, dozens of criminal police officers from Bien Hoa City Police (Dong Nai) suddenly raided an unnumbered house in Dong Nai Hamlet, Hoa An Commune, Bien Hoa City. There, the police discovered dozens of people gambling in the form of cockfighting and dice.

When they saw the police, many people ran away, including many gamblers who jumped into the Dong Nai River to escape. The police force controlled and arrested 12 people, while the remaining 10 people who jumped into the Dong Nai River escaped.

Gamblers were controlled by Bien Hoa City Police at the scene.

At the scene, police seized more than 22 million VND on the gambling mat; tens of millions of VND and other valuable assets on the subjects' persons; many fighting cocks and some tools used for shaking dice.

Initial investigation, Bien Hoa City Police determined that the casino was led and organized by Tran Van Sang, also known as “Sang Ga” (born in 1984). The form of gambling was cockfighting and dice.

To deal with the authorities, Sang organized a casino in a house in a small alley, close to the Dong Nai River and sent people to keep watch from afar.

The arrested subjects were taken to the Bien Hoa City Police Station for questioning. At the same time, the police also searched for the escaped subjects to continue investigating and clarifying the acts of organizing gambling and gambling.
