Surrounded by police, 10 gamblers jumped into the river to escape.
Upon discovering the police raid on the gambling den, the gamblers scattered and fled, some even jumping into the river to escape.
At approximately 2 PM on January 16th, dozens of criminal police officers from the Bien Hoa City Police Department (Dong Nai province) unexpectedly raided an unnumbered house in Dong Nai hamlet, Hoa An commune, Bien Hoa City. There, the police discovered dozens of individuals gambling using cockfighting and dice games.
Upon seeing the police, many individuals scattered and fled, with several gamblers jumping into the Dong Nai River to escape. The police managed to apprehend 12 individuals, while 10 others who jumped into the Dong Nai River managed to escape.

At the scene, the police seized over 22 million VND from the gambling table; tens of millions of VND and other valuable assets from the suspects; several fighting roosters and some sets of equipment used for dice gambling.
Initial investigations by the Bien Hoa City Police determined that the gambling den was led and organized by Tran Van Sang, also known as "Sang Ga" (born in 1984). The forms of gambling included cockfighting and dice games.
To evade law enforcement, Sang organized a gambling den in a house in a small alley near the Dong Nai River and assigned people to keep watch from a distance.
The arrested individuals were taken to the Bien Hoa City Police headquarters for questioning. Simultaneously, the police are also searching for the फरार individuals to continue the investigation and clarify their involvement in organizing and participating in gambling activities.
