Two suspects were apprehended while carrying six blocks of heroin and a loaded gun.

The two suspects fiercely resisted the arresting forces but were unsuccessful in escaping. The task force seized 6 blocks of heroin, as well as guns and ammunition.

On the afternoon of February 24th, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Dien Bien Provincial Police, in coordination with the Dien Bien Provincial Customs Department and the Dien Bien Dong District Police, successfully cracked case 219C, arresting two suspects and seizing six blocks of heroin and one homemade gun.

Specifically, at 1 PM, in Na Ly village, Chieng So commune, Dien Bien Dong district (Dien Bien province), a task force from the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Dien Bien Provincial Police, in coordination with the Dien Bien Provincial Customs Department and the Dien Bien Dong District Police, arrested two individuals while they were illegally buying and selling narcotics.

The two arrested individuals are brothers Lầu A Nụ, born in 1979, and Lầu A Câu, born in 1995, both residing in Nà Sản A village, Xa Dung commune, Điện Biên Đông district, Điện Biên province.

The seized items included 6 blocks of heroin, 1 motorbike, 3 mobile phones, 1 homemade gun firing sporting ammunition, 6 sporting bullets, and 1 AK bullet (of which 1 sporting bullet was already loaded).

During the arrest operation, the two suspects fiercely resisted the arresting forces. However, the task force successfully subdued and apprehended the two individuals.

At the police station, the two suspects confessed that they had purchased the drugs from a Myanmar national in the Vietnam-Laos border area. They were apprehended while on their way to sell them.

The investigation into this case is ongoing and being expanded.
