Comrade Dinh Viet Hong attended the ceremony to receive the Government's Emulation Flag in Ky Tan commune (Tan Ky district).

After 7 years of implementing the New Rural Development program, Ky Tan commune has mobilized a total capital of 216 billion VND, of which 97 billion VND was contributed by the people, to invest in rural development. Average income in 2018 reached 31.6 million VND/person; the poverty rate decreased to 1.62%. The Ky Tan Party Committee has achieved the "clean and strong" rating for 8 consecutive years; national defense and security have always been maintained.

At the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the Government's Emulation Flag and the Certificate recognizing Ky Tan commune as a New Rural Area.

Speaking to congratulate the officials and people of Ky Tan commune, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong praised the achievements the locality has made in the New Rural Development movement, and emphasized that the Party Committee, government, and people of Ky Tan commune need to continue to pay attention to directing and maintaining the quality of New Rural Development criteria. They should focus on further enhancing the role of the people as the main actors in New Rural Development. They should concentrate on directing, supporting, and encouraging the development of effective economic development models to increase people's income.

On this occasion, 4 individuals and 4 collectives with outstanding achievements in the New Rural Development movement of the commune were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Provincial People's Committee.
