Ms. Heather Nauert, a former TV host, officially held the position of representative of the US State Department, but in the past few months, her duties have been carried out by Mr. Robert Palladino. Previously, some American media reported that the person replacing Heather Nauert's position in the foreign affairs agency could be expert Morgan Ortagus of Fox News channel.
“On behalf of the entire State Department, I thank Heather Nauert for her two years of exceptional and distinguished service. She will be the perfect representative of the United States on the Fulbright Board!” Pompeo wrote on Twitter.
