Rescuers save a young woman from Nghe An province who was tricked and sold into prostitution.
(Baonghean.vn) - Traffic police officers signaled a vehicle to stop for an administrative check due to a speeding violation, and discovered three individuals inside escorting a young woman they were luring into a prostitution ring.
On April 3rd, the Traffic Control Team 1.48 of the Road Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police announced that they had successfully rescued a young woman who had been tricked and sold into prostitution.
Accordingly, at approximately 10:15 AM on April 2nd, the task force of Traffic Control Team 1.48 spotted a vehicle with license plate 30A - 347.66 violating the speed limit and signaled it to stop for an administrative inspection.

During the inspection, the vehicle was found to have Cao Xuan Sang (born in 1992), residing in Thanh Hoa province, as the driver, carrying three passengers: Lo Van Vi (born in 1990), Ha Van Hung (born in 1989), both residing in Nghia Lam commune, Nghia Dan district, and Luong Thi T (born in 2002), residing in Huoi Le village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district.
Working with the police, T confessed that she had previously been brought from her hometown to Dien Chau district by a friend to sell goods. However, upon arrival, she was tricked and sold into prostitution. During her time working there, the brothel owner forced her to sell sex, but she refused. On the morning of April 2nd, Sang, Vi, and Hung came to visit T and asked her about her situation. Knowing that T wanted to return home, the group of young men tricked her into believing they would drive her home. After T agreed to get into the car, the group drove her to Thanh Hoa province.
Through investigation, it was revealed that T was tricked into going to Dien Hung commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province, under the pretext of selling goods, but was actually forced into prostitution. T refused, but agreed when the three suspects offered to take her home to Ky Son. However, their real intention was to take the victim to Bai Chanh, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province for a trip.
The task force drew up a report and forwarded it to the Thai Hoa Town Police for investigation, and then handed Luong Thi T over to the Ky Son District Police and her family.The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
