Lightning struck and killed another buffalo after heavy rain in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - Thanh Giang Commune Police, Thanh Chuong District (Nghe An) said that a buffalo was just struck to death by lightning after a heavy thunderstorm.
At around 2:00 p.m. on May 28, after a heavy thunderstorm, people in Thanh Giang commune (Thanh Chuong) went to the fields and discovered a buffalo struck dead by lightning on the bank of a river, in the local Su field area.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chief of Thanh Giang Commune Police said that this is a male buffalo, confirmed to belong to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, residing in Bich Thi hamlet.
The buffalo was bought by traders to be slaughtered for 15 million VND.
Lightning killed 3 buffaloes after rain in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - At the same time, 5 buffaloes in 3 districts of Do Luong, Thanh Chuong and Tan Ky were struck by lightning during heavy rain after days of peak heat, of which 3 died.
