(Baonghean.vn) - The police in Thanh Giang commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An province) reported that a buffalo was killed by lightning after a heavy thunderstorm.
At around 2 PM on May 28th, after a heavy thunderstorm, residents of Thanh Giang commune (Thanh Chuong district) discovered a buffalo that had been struck and killed by lightning on the bank of a canal, in the Su field area of the locality.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Head of the Thanh Giang Commune Police, this is a male buffalo, confirmed to belong to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, residing in Bich Thi hamlet.
The buffalo was bought by traders for slaughter at a price of 15 million dong.
