More than 3,000 children in Nghe An will receive free heart disease screening

During the first examination session, nearly 800 children aged 0-6 from districts in the province were examined, screened and given free treatment advice by central and provincial specialists.

This is the second time the program has been held in Nghe An. Previously, nearly 2,000 children in the province were screened for congenital heart disease.
In this program, those who are found to have congenital heart disease and are in difficult circumstances will be guided by the organizers to complete the procedures to request assistance and receive free surgery funding.

Since 2011, more than 100,000 children in 46 provinces and cities have been screened, detecting more than 1,000 cases of congenital heart disease; thereby helping to sponsor, treat, and save the lives of many children with congenital heart disease in difficult circumstances in many rural areas across the country. "Heart for Children" is a charity program jointly implemented by Viettel Group and Tam Long Viet Fund for over 10 years.
