Vinh City officially selects 4 pedestrian streets.

Additionally, if necessary, parking lot number 2 on Truong Thi street and the parking lot near the Festival Hall will be utilized.

Essentially, all units support the idea of opening a pedestrian street in Vinh City. However, according to Mr. Ho Cong Nghia, Acting Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Monument, the time when the pedestrian street is usually opened on Fridays and Saturdays is also when unexpected political events often take place that the board cannot anticipate.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Director of the Provincial Labor Culture House, said: "I only learned about Vinh City's plan to open a pedestrian street through media reports, so I can't offer my opinion yet. However, I fully support opening a pedestrian street, but the opening of a parking service at the Provincial Labor Culture House needs careful consideration."

Similarly, when contacted, representatives from the Vinh Diplomatic Hotel did not offer a statement regarding the arrangement of parking services at the hotel. However, based on our research, we understand that the hotel often hosts many events and attracts a large number of guests on weekends, making it difficult for the hotel as the grounds are prioritized for hotel guests, with only the remaining area available for pedestrians. Specifically, the hotel will only develop a plan when the City People's Committee addresses the issue.
These are the locations that the city has surveyed and planned; in the near future, while awaiting feedback from departments, agencies, and the Provincial People's Committee, the city will work specifically with each unit on the plan to implement parking services, ensuring the greatest convenience for both citizens and service providers.
