Gasoline prices continue to fall for the third consecutive time.
Each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by a maximum of 986 VND, RON 95 gasoline decreased by 1,085 VND; other petroleum products also decreased by 239 - 737 VND per liter or kilogram.
According to the fuel price adjustment information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, starting from 3 PM today (June 17th), RON95 gasoline will decrease by 1,085 VND per liter; E5RON92 gasoline will decrease by 986 VND. Other petroleum products will also see price reductions: diesel 0.05S will decrease by 737 VND; kerosene by 614 VND per liter; and fuel oil by 239 VND per kg. After the adjustment, the maximum price per liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline will be 19,224 VND; and RON 95 gasoline will be 20,125 VND.
Along with the price reduction, authorities also decided to increase the contribution to the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for RON 95 gasoline and other types of diesel to 900 VND per liter/kilogram. For E5 RON 95 gasoline, the contribution remains at 300 VND per liter. In this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and diesel products.
Data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that the average price of finished gasoline products in the Singapore market in the new cycle is 64.33 USD per barrel for RON 92 gasoline, a decrease of more than 12% compared to the previous cycle. Meanwhile, RON 95 is 66.04 USD per barrel, a decrease of 12.2%. The decrease in world gasoline prices has led to a decrease in domestic gasoline prices.
This is the third consecutive price reduction for domestic petroleum products since the beginning of May, with E5 RON 92 gasoline decreasing by over 1,400 VND and RON 95 by over 2,060 VND per liter.
