Viewing the test content before the invigilator allows it, without checking the test code on the pages, candidates may lose points.

In addition to the general regulations that must be followed, when taking the multiple-choice test, candidates need to pay attention to some points in the 2019 national high school exam regulations.

Candidates must take the test on the pre-printed multiple-choice answer sheet as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training; they may only fill in the registration number, test code, and answer boxes with black pencil. If they fill in the wrong box or want to change an answer, they must erase the pencil from the old box and then fill in the box they choose.

Candidates must fill in the blank fields above the multiple-choice answer sheet accurately and completely; with the registration number, the number part must be filled in completely (including the zeros in front), and the exam code must be filled in correctly on the 2 exam receipts.

When receiving the exam, candidates should note that the component subjects in each combined exam of Natural Sciences or Social Sciences have the same exam code. If the exam code is different, they must immediately notify the exam supervisor, no later than 10 minutes after receiving the exam. Candidates must place the exam under the multiple-choice answer sheet and must not look at the content without the permission of the exam supervisor.

Candidates must also check the test to ensure that there are enough questions as written on the test and that all pages of the test have the same test code. The test must not be submitted before the end of the test time. When the time is up, candidates must hand in the multiple choice answer sheet to the test proctor and sign the two test collection forms.

Finally, candidates are only allowed to leave the examination room after the invigilator has checked all the answer sheets in the room and allowed them to leave. In case of an unusual incident, candidates must absolutely follow the instructions of the invigilator.

This year, the whole country has more than 887,000 candidates taking the National High School Exam for graduation and university admission. The number of university and college registrations for teacher training majors is more than 653,000. Of which, independent candidates account for 4.3%.
