Ministry of Education confirms that there are candidates who failed the exam

The Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that a candidate from Phu Tho brought a phone into the Literature exam room. Therefore, after more than 2/3 of the exam time, the exam questions appeared online.

Mr. Mai Van Trinh - Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training confirmed that the information about the Literature exam being leaked and spread on social networks before the end of the exam time is correct. Currently, the police have stepped in.

Specifically, the incident occurred during the Literature exam this morning, at testing site No. 22, Thanh Son High School, Phu Tho, where a candidate brought a cell phone into the exam room. “Therefore, after more than 2/3 of the test time, the Literature exam appeared online,” said Mr. Trinh.

According to Mr. Trinh, under the direction of the Examination Council, the PA03 Police force and the security of the examination site have stepped in to verify. This candidate has been suspended from the exam. Two exam supervisors of this examination room (one from the Diplomatic Academy, one from Minh Hoa Secondary School) have been suspended from exam supervision since this afternoon (June 25).

Phu Tho Examination Council has also reminded all examination sites in the province to strengthen exam supervision.

“Through the recent incident, I request all examination sites nationwide, especially the invigilators, to be more serious, more careful, more responsible, and not to let candidates bring prohibited devices into the examination room. I request the heads of examination sites to strengthen their direction and discipline to ensure a serious, safe and serious examination,” said Mr. Trinh./.
