Visiting the family of two missing sailors in Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 13, the Association of War Veterans of Quynh Luu district visited and encouraged two families of sailors in Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu) who went missing in the shipwreck in the sea of ​​Quang Binh.

The Veterans Association of Quynh Luu district sent its deepest condolences to the families of crew member Tran Van Thien (born in 1964), in village 10, and crew member Dau Ngoc Cam (born in 1958), in village 8, Son Hai commune. These are two members of the Veterans Association of Son Hai commune who went missing in the recent shipwreck in the Quang Binh sea.

On behalf of the association, comrade Le Van Dien - Chairman of the Association of War Veterans in Quynh Luu district encouraged the families to soon overcome the pain and loss and stabilize their lives. At the same time, he presented 1 million VND in support from the Association of War Veterans in Quynh Luu district and 2 million VND from the Association of War Veterans in Nghe An province to each family of missing crew members.

As reported, on the morning of September 5,Fishing vessel number NA93010 TSMr. Cao Van Y, Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu), who was staying at Song Gianh port (Quang Binh), was leaving the port to return to his hometown when the accident happened. At that time, there were 7 crew members on the ship, 5 of whom were fortunately rescued, including: Nguyen Van Thang (29 years old), Pham Van Hoang (26 years old), Le Van Chien, Ngo Van Xo (18 years old), Tran Van Cuong (16 years old). Currently, there are 2 missing crew members: Dau Ngoc Cam (61 years old) and Tran Van Thien (55 years old).
