The Veterans Association of Quynh Luu district has extended its deepest condolences to the families of crew members Tran Van Thien (born in 1964), residing in Hamlet 10, and Dau Ngoc Cam (born in 1958), residing in Hamlet 8, Son Hai commune. These two members of the Son Hai commune Veterans Association went missing in the recent shipwreck off the coast of Quang Binh province.

On behalf of the association, Comrade Le Van Dien - Chairman of the Veterans Association of Quynh Luu district - encouraged the families to overcome their grief and loss and stabilize their lives. He also presented each family with a missing crew member with a financial support of 1 million VND from the Quynh Luu district Veterans Association and 2 million VND from the Nghe An provincial Veterans Association.

Relatives of the crew members from Nghe An province wept uncontrollably while awaiting news of the rescue operation from Quang Binh.

(Baonghean.vn) - Upon hearing the news that a fishing boat sank at the mouth of the Gianh River (Quang Binh province), causing 6 people to fall into the sea, relatives in Son Hai fishing village (Quynh Luu district) were extremely shocked and worried.

As previously reported, on the morning of September 5th,fishing vessel number NA93010 TSMr. Cao Van Y, from Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu district), residing at Song Gianh port (Quang Binh province), was on his way home when the accident occurred. There were 7 crew members on board at the time, and 5 were fortunately rescued: Nguyen Van Thang (29 years old), Pham Van Hoang (26 years old), Le Van Chien, Ngo Van Xo (18 years old), and Tran Van Cuong (16 years old). Currently, 2 crew members are still missing: Dau Ngoc Cam (61 years old) and Tran Van Thien (55 years old).
