Today opens the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, Monday, October 21, the 14th National Assembly solemnly opened its 8th session at the National Assembly Building, Hanoi Capital.

It is expected that the National Assembly will work for 28 days and hold its closing session on November 27, 2019. During this session, the National Assembly will focus most of its time on law-making, along with the work of supreme supervision, reviewing and deciding on many important issues of the country.
According to the plan, at the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, the time for law-making is about 17 days, accounting for 60% of the total session time. The time for questioning and answering questions is 3 days, an increase of 0.5 days compared to the 7th session. The time for thematic supervision, consideration and decision on other important issues is about 08 days.
At this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 12 draft laws, 04 draft resolutions and give opinions on 09 other draft laws.
