Today marks the opening of the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly.
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, Monday, October 21st, the 14th National Assembly solemnly opened its 8th session at the National Assembly building in Hanoi.

The National Assembly is expected to work for 28 days and hold its closing session on November 27, 2019. During this session, the National Assembly will focus most of its time on legislative work, along with supreme oversight, and considering and deciding on many important national issues.
According to the plan, at the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, approximately 17 days will be allocated to legislative work, accounting for 60% of the total session time. Three days will be dedicated to question-and-answer sessions, an increase of 0.5 days compared to the 7th session. Approximately eight days will be allocated to thematic oversight activities and the consideration and decision-making on other important issues.
At this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 12 draft laws, 4 draft resolutions, and provide feedback on 9 other draft laws.
