'Hot girl' arrested for possessing drugs and guns

Possessing a beautiful appearance, Le Thi Mai Khuong (born in 1995) is one of the links in a drug ring in Hanoi.

On the afternoon of January 7, information from the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Hanoi City Police said that in the first 15 days of the peak of the attack to suppress crime and maintain security and order during the Lunar New Year 2020, the Drug Crime Investigation Police force of the City Police discovered, investigated, and solved 327 cases with 404 subjects, of which 325 cases with 380 defendants were prosecuted; 2 cases with 24 subjects were administratively handled.

Seized evidence included nearly 280 grams of heroin; over 1,600 grams of synthetic drugs; over 1,500 grams of marijuana, 120 motorbikes, 251 mobile phones, 5 cars, over 110 million VND, 1 gun and many tools used for illegal drug use.

Some typical cases are on December 27, 2019, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department caught Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1970, residing in Cau Den ward, Hai Ba Trung district) with evidence including 143.127 grams of heroin.

Expanding the investigation, the authorities continued to arrest the couple Ngo Thi Ha (born in 1976, residing in O Cho Dua ward, Dong Da district, with two previous convictions for illegal drug trafficking and abuse of trust to appropriate property) and Le Ba Thuy (born in 1972, with one previous conviction for illegal drug trafficking). Searching Ngo Thi Ha's two residences, the police discovered an additional 66.083 grams of heroin cleverly hidden in a vacuum cleaner along with several stamping machines, hydraulic presses, molds, etc.

Another incident was on January 2, 2020, the Drug Investigation Police Department executed an emergency detention order and an emergency search warrant against Luong Quy Rin (born in 1988, residing in Ha Tinh).

During the surveillance process, it was determined that Rin's wife, Le Thi Mai Khuong (born in 1995, also residing in Ha Tinh), had signs of dispersing and destroying drugs. The reconnaissance force promptly executed a search warrant and discovered a total of 1,000.33 grams of synthetic drugs (Ketamine) in the trunk of Khuong's motorbike. Searching Khuong's house, the police seized an additional 24.91 grams of synthetic drugs; 2 guns, 45 bullets and a number of related objects and documents.

At the investigation agency, the subjects initially confessed to illegally buying and selling drugs.
