'Hot girl' arrested for possessing drugs and firearms.
Despite her beautiful appearance, Le Thi Mai Khuong (born in 1995) was one of the links in a drug trafficking ring in Hanoi.
On the afternoon of January 7th, information from the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Hanoi City Police indicated that during the first 15 days of the intensified crackdown on crime and maintaining security and order during the Lunar New Year of the Rat 2020, the Drug Crime Investigation force of the Hanoi City Police discovered, investigated, and uncovered 327 cases involving 404 individuals. Of these, 325 cases with 380 defendants were prosecuted, and 2 cases with 24 individuals were handled administratively.
The seized evidence included nearly 280 grams of heroin; over 1,600 grams of synthetic drugs; more than 1,500 grams of cannabis, 120 motorbikes, 251 mobile phones, 5 cars, over 110 million VND, one gun, and many tools used for the illegal use of drugs.

A typical case is that on December 27, 2019, the Drug Crime Investigation Department caught Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1970, residing in Cau Den ward, Hai Ba Trung district) red-handed with evidence including 143.127 grams of heroin.
Expanding the investigation, authorities arrested Ngo Thi Ha (born in 1976, residing in O Cho Dua ward, Dong Da district, with two prior convictions for illegal drug trafficking and embezzlement) and Le Ba Thuy (born in 1972, with one prior conviction for illegal drug trafficking). During searches of Ngo Thi Ha's two residences, police discovered an additional 66.083 grams of heroin cleverly concealed in a vacuum cleaner, along with several hydraulic presses, molds, and other equipment.
Another incident occurred on January 2, 2020, when the Drug Crime Investigation Department executed an emergency detention order and an emergency search warrant against Luong Quy Rin (born in 1988, residing in Ha Tinh).
During surveillance, authorities identified Rin's wife, Le Thi Mai Khuong (born in 1995, also residing in Ha Tinh), as exhibiting signs of disposing of or destroying drugs. Investigators promptly executed a search warrant and discovered a total of 1,000.33 grams of synthetic drugs (Ketamine) in the trunk of Khuong's motorbike. A search of Khuong's house yielded an additional 24.91 grams of synthetic drugs, two firearms, 45 rounds of ammunition, and other related items and documents.
During initial questioning at the investigative agency, the suspects confessed to the illegal trafficking of narcotics.
