(Baonghean.vn) - Preparing for the Lunar New Year, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that medical facilities need to prepare conditions to be ready to ensure health care for people during the Tet holiday.
On January 17, Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to medical facilities in the province. Accompanying him were representatives from the Department of Health, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Youth Union, Women's Union and Veterans Association of the province.

In the morning, the delegation visited and wished a happy new year to the staff and doctors of Tay Bac General Hospital (Thai Hoa Town). In the past year, despite many difficulties, the Tay Bac General Hospital team has made great efforts in their work and successfully completed the assigned tasks.

Wishing the hospital staff a Happy New Year, comrade Bui Dinh Long acknowledged the efforts of the hospital staff. Entering the new year, in the context of the entire health sector moving towards autonomy, he hopes that the hospital needs to have a specific strategy.
In particular, priority is given to developing specialized fields and promoting human resources with more than 100 doctors working at the hospital. Striving to complete Tay Bac Hospital as soon as possible in the direction of a grade 2 hospital and gradually upgrade it to a grade 1 hospital.

Also this morning, the delegation visited and wished a happy new year to the medical staff of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center and Quang Khoi General Hospital.
These are two young, newly established units, but in recent times they have made many efforts to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, gradually meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of local people.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long said: In the current period, the province's viewpoint is that developing healthcare means developing services. Therefore, in the coming time, the province will focus on all types of development, including non-public hospitals.
On the same afternoon, comrade Bui Dinh Long and the delegation visited and wished a happy new year to hospitals located in Vinh city, namely Nghe An General Hospital, 115 General Hospital, Mental Hospital and Endocrinology Hospital.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Bui Dinh Long acknowledged the efforts of the units in the past year. At the same time, he hoped that in the new year, the units would continue to promote their role as frontline hospitals to further develop their professional skills, pay attention to the direction of the line and need to innovate their service attitude.

On the occasion of the New Year, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Bui Dinh Long wished all cadres, civil servants and employees of the medical sector and their families a warm, peaceful and prosperous new year.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented 120 gifts to seriously ill patients being treated at the hospital, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
