Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long extends New Year greetings to healthcare units.
(Baonghean.vn) - In preparation for the Lunar New Year, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that medical facilities prepare the necessary conditions to ensure the provision of healthcare for the people during the Tet holiday.
On January 17th, Mr. Bui Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to medical facilities located in the province. Accompanying him were representatives from the Department of Health, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Provincial Veterans Association.

In the morning, the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the staff and doctors of Tay Bac General Hospital (Thai Hoa Town). Over the past year, despite many difficulties, the staff of Tay Bac General Hospital has made many efforts in their work and successfully completed their assigned tasks.

Extending New Year greetings to the hospital staff, Comrade Bui Dinh Long acknowledged the efforts of the hospital team. Entering the new year, in the context of the entire health sector moving towards autonomy, he expressed his wish for the hospital to have a specific strategy.
In particular, priority will be given to developing specialized fields and leveraging human resources, with over 100 doctors currently working at the hospital. The goal is to complete the Northwest Hospital as soon as possible, aiming for a level 2 hospital and gradually upgrading it to a level 1 hospital.

Also this morning, the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the medical staff of Hoang Mai Town Health Center and Quang Khoi General Hospital.
These are two young, newly established units, but in recent times they have made many efforts to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, gradually meeting the medical needs of the people in the area.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long stated: In the current period, the province's view is that developing healthcare means developing services. Therefore, in the coming time, the province will focus maximum effort on all types of development, including private hospitals.
Later that afternoon, Comrade Bui Dinh Long and the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to hospitals located in Vinh City, namely Nghe An General Hospital, 115 General Hospital, the Mental Hospital, and the Endocrinology Hospital.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Bui Dinh Long acknowledged the efforts of the units over the past year. He also expressed his hope that in the new year, the units would continue to play their role as leading hospitals, further developing their professional skills, paying close attention to the work of directing and supervising lower-level hospitals, and improving their service attitude.

Before the Lunar New Year, he also requested that units arrange their forces and plan their holiday duty schedules meticulously, preparing all necessary conditions to support deployment orders when required. On the occasion of the New Year, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Bui Dinh Long wished the entire staff and their families a warm, prosperous, and healthy New Year.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented 120 gift packages to seriously ill patients receiving treatment at the hospital, with each gift package worth 500,000 VND.

On the same day, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long also visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented 50 gifts to the children at the SOS Children's Village Vinh.
