The Prime Minister requested to ensure payment of salaries and bonuses to workers during the Lunar New Year.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just signed Official Dispatch 119/CD-TTg on ensuring payment of salaries and bonuses to employees during the Lunar New Year.

To ensure the implementation of policies, wages, and bonuses during Tet, creating conditions for workers to have a warm and happy Lunar New Year, the Prime Minister requests:
1. The People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities direct labor agencies to coordinate with the provincial and municipal Labor Federations to request units and enterprises to pay salaries and bonuses to employees on time and in accordance with regulations, ensuring the lives of employees during Tet; not allowing unpaid salaries and bonuses; and strictly handling violations of regulations.
2. The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs shall coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to proactively monitor and grasp the situation of salary and bonus payments of units and enterprises; proactively and promptly direct local labor agencies to coordinate with trade union organizations at the same level to develop solutions to prevent and handle labor disputes that may occur during Tet, ensuring the rights of employees in accordance with the provisions of law, labor contracts, collective labor agreements, and internal rules and regulations of enterprises.
3. The State Bank of Vietnam directs commercial banks to prioritize processing salary payment transactions for agencies, units and enterprises; ensure smooth operation of payment systems and automatic teller machines, promptly meet the salary payment needs of enterprises and cash withdrawal needs of employees.
4. The Ministry of Finance directs the State Treasury system to promptly process salary payment orders for agencies, organizations and units.
5. Propose that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor coordinate with the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and local labor agencies inspect and supervise the compliance with regulations on salary and Tet bonus payment at units and enterprises; promptly resolve arising issues, ensuring the rights of employees./.
