Old lady escaped death in fire that destroyed 3-room wooden house
(Baonghean.vn) - While cooking in the kitchen, the old lady smelled a burning smell and flames coming from the corrugated iron roof. She panicked and ran outside to call for help from the locals to put out the fire.
At around 6:30 p.m. on February 5, a fire broke out at Mr. Lo Thanh Soong's house in Cau 8 village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district. The fire burned down the house, causing panic among many people living in the surrounding area.
At the time of the fire, only an elderly woman, nearly 80 years old, was cooking in the house. Hearing the burning smell and flames coming from the corrugated iron roof, the elderly woman panicked and ran outside to call for help to put out the fire.

Upon receiving the news from the people, local authorities, district police, district military command and people quickly arrived at the scene.
When the fire brigade arrived at the scene, the house contained many flammable items and the fire was so intense that it threatened to spread to the house next door.

Firefighting teams were quickly deployed, while firefighters and residents worked together to evacuate property and prevent the fire from spreading. After 40 minutes, the fire was extinguished and the house was completely burned down. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
