The workshop aims to review the glorious revolutionary tradition of our Party, contributing to clarifying the activities and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the country's revolutionary cause.
The Organizing Committee received 45 enthusiastic, intellectual and responsible presentations from leaders, former leaders, former officials and scientists of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ho Chi Minh Institute and Party leaders, Communist Magazine, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace Relic Site...The comments touched on many profound and suggestive issues, many of which focused on issues such as: Learning about the life and glorious revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh; his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people, and to the international communist and workers' movement.
Besides, there are articles expressing the Vietnamese people's sincere remembrance and deep gratitude, the love and respect of people around the world for him; analyzing and clarifying the creative application and development of Ho Chi Minh's thought in the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
Some papers mentioned the work of fighting and refuting false information and viewpoints, distorting the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh; reflecting on studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the meaning and value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through a number of relic sites, documents and artifacts that are being displayed and playing an important role at the Relic Site; summarizing and evaluating the conservation work and solutions to improve the quality of propaganda and education at the Relic Site...
In his closing remarks at the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized that the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh is a shining symbol in the history of mankind in the 20th century and forever after. He is an example of a steadfast leader, who fought tirelessly all his life for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, making great contributions to the struggle for peace, democracy, social justice, and consolidating and developing friendship and cooperation among nations around the world.
The workshop "President Ho Chi Minh - Life and Career" is an opportunity to express the infinite gratitude of generations of Vietnamese people for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the country and the people. This is also a practical work, contributing to promoting the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the new period.
