18-month-old baby dies after drinking solution in mosquito repellent lamp
(Baonghean.vn) - The heartbreaking incident when an 18-month-old baby in Da Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) drank the solution in a mosquito repellent lamp, leading to his death.
Information from the People's Committee of Da Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) said that the heartbreaking incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on May 17 at the family of Mr. N.D.P (residing in hamlet 4, Da Son commune).
During that time, the baby’s mother was preparing a meal and did not pay attention to the baby. When the family discovered that the baby had drunk the solution in the mosquito repellent lamp and had a seizure, they panicked and took the baby to the emergency room. After more than an hour of intensive treatment, the baby did not survive.
Local authorities visited and encouraged the family to overcome the pain.
