An 18-month-old child died after drinking the liquid from a mosquito repellent lamp.
(Baonghean.vn) - A heartbreaking incident occurred when an 18-month-old child in Da Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An province) drank the liquid from a mosquito repellent lamp, leading to death.
According to information from the People's Committee of Da Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An province), the tragic incident occurred at approximately 11:00 AM on May 17th at the home of Mr. N.D.P (residing in Hamlet 4, Da Son commune).
During that time, the child's mother was preparing a meal and wasn't paying attention to the baby. When they discovered the baby had ingested the liquid from the mosquito repellent lamp and was having seizures, the family panicked and rushed the baby to the hospital for emergency treatment. After more than an hour of intensive care, the baby did not survive.
Local authorities visited the family to offer condolences and support in their grief.
