(Baonghean.vn) - The Prime Minister has just given his opinion on adjusting, supplementing items and extending the implementation time of the Emergency Project to handle landslide incidents in Block 4, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

Specifically, the Prime Minister agreed in principle to adjust, supplement items and extend the implementation period of the Project as proposed by the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Official Dispatch 785/TTg-CN of the Prime Minister(June 23, 2020) signed by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung stated: Nghe An Provincial People's Committee is responsible for approving the adjusted investment decision in accordance with the provisions of law on public investment and relevant legal provisions, in which the total investment from the central budget does not exceed the central budget portion according toDecision No. 1235/QD-TTgdated September 20, 2019 of the Prime Minister; at the same time, send the adjusted investment decision to the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs for monitoring, supervision and synthesis in accordance with regulations.

In addition, organize and manage the project in accordance with the provisions of law on investment, construction, and bidding; take full responsibility for information and data related to the Project and the effectiveness of the Project investment; and prevent loss, waste, and negativity during the implementation of the Project.

Previously, the Prime Minister approved the investment policy.Emergency project to handle landslide incidents in block 4 of Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

The investment objective of the project is to urgently handle the landslide incident in block 4 of Muong Xen town, ensuring timely safety for households in areas at risk of landslides; ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling on National Highway 7. Ky Son District People's Committee is the investor of the Project.
