(Baonghean.vn) - Every year on War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, many people and relatives of heroic martyrs come to Vinh City's Martyrs' Cemetery to offer flowers, light candles, and pay their respects to the heroes who fell for independence.

This is also the destination of cadres, people, and youth union members of Vinh city during holidays and Tet. Especially, in July, Vinh city martyrs cemetery is where many organizations and people come to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs. |

Every year, on this occasion, Mrs. Ngo Thi Thanh's family and her children in Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City come here to burn incense in memory of her husband and father who heroically sacrificed in the resistance war against the US. He was martyr Le Quang Thien, First Lieutenant, Chief of Military Medicine of Regiment 36, Division 308, he sacrificed on June 24, 1972 at the Southern front. Ms. Doan Thu Phuong is the niece of martyr Doan Huu Binh, who died at the age of 24 and was unmarried. These days, Ms. Phuong, on behalf of her family, comes to burn incense and flowers to commemorate the man who sacrificed his youth for national independence.
