National U17 Finals 2020: U17 SLNA starts smoothly
(Baonghean.vn) - The final round of the 2020 National U17 Football Championship continued with the first match in Group B on the afternoon of September 19. In the opening match, U17 SLNA had a comeback to win quite convincingly 3-1 against U17 Saigon.
SLNA Youth Training Center is known as one of the cradles of youth football training in the country. In the National U17 arena, the Nghe An team had a long time dominating with 7 championship titles before slowing down due to the rise of Hanoi, PVF, Viettel.
This season,U17 SLNAreturn to the position of a candidate in the championship race when possessing a force of excellent players who have won the highest position in the National U15 arena for 2 consecutive years.

Under the slippery and wet conditions of the pitch, and having been behind early, the SLNA U17 players still showed a coherent style of play, creating very good pressing. Dinh Xuan Tien's equalizer from the penalty spot in the 10th minute was the result of consecutive attacks, making the opposing team's defense struggle to defend.
Moving on to the second half,U17 SLNAcontinued to prove their strength by maintaining the dominant position and creating many sharp attacks. Just 3 minutes after the ball started rolling again, Coach Le Ky Phuong's students scored a goal to take the lead 2-1, after Ngoc Dung's header in the penalty area.

In the following minutes, U17 Saigon tried very hard to regain control of the game, however, they did not have many opportunities to approach goalkeeper Canh Tiep's goal.
Not only that, in the extra minute of the match, U17 Saigon also had to concede another goal when they let Van Cuong escape down the left wing, returning the ball into the penalty area for captain Van Bach to easily tap the ball into the goal, sealing a 3-1 victory for U17 SLNA.
In the next match, U17 SLNA will meet U17 Phu Yen on September 21 while Saigon will face a team that played very impressively in the qualifying round, Nutifood Academy.
