Nghe An education sector inspects and supports schools to overcome floods
(Baonghean.vn) - Đợt mưa lũ vừa qua đã làm hàng chục trường học trên địa bàn tỉnh Nghệ An bị ảnh hưởng và đến thời điểm này vẫn còn hàng nghìn học sinh phải nghỉ học, chưa thể đến trường.
Sáng 2/11, Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo đã đi kiểm tra tình hình thiệt hại do bão, lũ và trao hỗ trợ cho một số trường bị thiệt hại nặng tại các huyện Thanh Chương, Đô Lương, Yên Thành.
Trong đợt lũ vừa rồi, Thanh Chuonglà một trong những huyện bị thiệt hại nặng nề với tổng số tiền hơn 900 triệu đồng. Đến thời điểm này vẫn còn khoảng 60 trường đang bị ngập lụt hoặc đang bị chia cắt nên học sinh chưa đi học trở lại.

Đến kiểm tra tình hình bị ảnh hưởng do mưa, lũ tại Trường Mầm non và Trường Tiểu học Thanh Hà, Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo Thái Văn Thành đã chia sẻ với những khó khăn và thiệt hại của các nhà trường.
Bên cạnh đó, cũng đã kịp thời động viên cán bộ, chiến sỹ và giáo viên, nhân viên đang tham gia công tác khắc phục bão, lũ tại trường. Với châm “nước đến đâu, dọn dẹp vệ sinh đến đó”, việc khắc phục thiệt hại do mưa, lũ đang được các trường tiến hành khẩn trương.

Trước mắt, tại đợt kiểm tra, Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo đã trao số tiền hỗ trợ mỗi trường 20 triệu đồng.

Working with the Department of Education and the Board of Directors of Minh Son Primary School - the most damaged school in Do Luong district, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training praised the quick recovery work of the district's education sector. At the same time, they hoped that schools would continue to make efforts to soon stabilize teaching and learning.

In Yen Thanh district, the district’s education sector also suffered losses of more than 700 million VND during the recent flood. At this time, 3 kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in Long Thanh commune are still flooded and students cannot return to school.
Handing over the support money to schools in Long Thanh commune, the Director of the Department of Education and Training said: After calculating all the damages, the Department of Education and Training will make a list and continue to have specific and detailed support plans for schools damaged in the recent flood.
