(Baonghean.vn) - Many farming households in Chau Cuong commune, Quy Hop district have taken advantage of their gardens and fish ponds to develop frog farming, bringing in a good income for their families.

For several years now, Ms. Luong Thi Hoa's family in Nhang Tham village, Chau Cuong commune, Quy Hop district has been using their garden and pig barn to raise frogs.

Ms. Hoa said: “I find raising frogs much easier than other animals because they have fewer diseases. Food for frogs is rice bran, corn flour, mixed cereal powder, small fish... Experience from frog-raising households shows that frogs can be raised at high density, with little care, low investment costs, and farmers only need to invest an initial capital of about 2-3 million VND for each release.
