(Baonghean.vn) - Tran Duc Cuong agreed to transport 198 kg of firecrackers for a man for 2.5 million VND. He was arrested while en route.

On December 22nd, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Nghi Loc District Police announced that they had successfully cracked a case, in coordination with the Customs Control Team (Nghe An Customs Department), Market Management Team No. 2 (Nghe An Market Management Department), and the Dien Yen Commune Police (Dien Chau District), arresting Tran Duc Cuong (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District, for the crime of "Trading and transporting prohibited goods".

Previously, on December 20th, at the Nam Cam intersection, in Bac Son 1 hamlet, Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district, authorities successfully cracked a case and arrested Tran Duc Cuong while he was transporting firecrackers. The seized evidence included 8 sacks containing a total of 198 kg of firecrackers.fireworkExplosive type; 1 white truck.

The suspect, Tran Duc Cuong, confessed that he was hired by a man to transport the fireworks from Dien Chau district to Nghi Loc district for 2.5 million VND.
Currently, the Nghi Loc District Police are holding Tran Duc Cuong in custody for criminal investigation and will handle the case strictly according to the law, while continuing to expand the investigation.
