In 2020, on the basis of closely following the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board has led and directed the professional implementation of professional tasks effectively.
Notably, the unit has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and expand the spatial planning and invest in building infrastructure for the economic zone. Proposing the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a resolution to adjustland price listspecifically for industrial parks in the Southeast Economic Zone; associated with proposing and advising on a number of policies on land prices, attracting investment in the direction of creating convenience, stability and increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the economic zone; at the same time proactively implementing domestic investment promotion activities.

As a result of investment attraction, in 2020, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board advised the Provincial People's Committee to decide on investment policies and grant investment registration certificates to 23 projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 5,244 billion; of which, there are 9 FDI projects with registered investment capital of more than 165 million USD.

Capital was increased in 15 projects, with registered investment capital increasing by more than VND6,848 billion, of which 9 FDI projects increased capital by more than USD111 million.
The total number of employees in factories and production facilities in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks is more than 23,630, including 429 foreign employees.

Emphasizing that 2021 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year economic development plan (2021 - 2025), the Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to continue to build a united and consensus bloc, proactively implement the board's task plan, in which, pay attention to identifying the key points of the entire term, on that basis, allocate specific tasks every year to direct more drastically, innovate, create, and promote more strongly.

Regarding specific tasks, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies also requested the Party Committee of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to continue to lead professional advice to the province to perfect mechanisms and policies to support investment promotion; promote administrative reform, especially administrative procedures, and apply information technology in all activities from professional to Party building and organization and union work.
Pay attention to synchronously completing infrastructure in industrial zones of the economic zone; training local human resources and attracting high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the economic zone; continue to review the overall planning of the economic zone and the planning of functional sub-zones with the overall socio-economic planning of the province.
