Shaking in many places in Vinh city, suspected earthquake
(Baonghean.vn) - At 10:35 p.m. on March 28, many people in Ben Thuy, Truong Thi and some areas in Vinh City (Nghe An) felt an aftershock like an earthquake.
Some residents said that at that time, while they were studying or working in their house, they felt like someone was running around on the ground. Then the door and some objects shook violently for a few seconds.

Mr. Vo Ha in block 13, Ben Thuy ward - Vinh city said that family members saw the main door and windows shaking for about 5 seconds.
Mr. Binh Minh in Truong Thi ward said that at that time, when the whole family was getting ready to go to bed, they heard the sound of something falling and felt the bed shaking slightly. He turned on the light to check and saw that the makeup clock on the living room wall had fallen.

Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper reporter, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Anh - Director of the Institute of Geophysics said that the unit has a monitoring station at Quyet Mountain, Trung Do Ward and also received information reflecting this situation. "However, when checking the data, there was no earthquake. I don't know if there was any other cause," said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh.
