Arrested a subject who broke into a house, broke a safe and stole 400 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, Phan Van Phuong broke the lock, broke in and smashed the safe to steal 400 million VND and a cell phone from the homeowner, then quickly disposed of the evidence to avoid detection.
On March 30, Do Luong District Police said they were temporarily detaining Phan Van Phuong (born in 1988), residing in Dong Son Commune (Do Luong) to investigate and clarify the act of "Theft".theft".
Previously, at around 12:00 on March 18, 2021, Ms. Dang Thi X. (born in 1967), residing in Hamlet 6, Trang Son (Do Luong) went to the police station to report a theft. Accordingly, at around 9:00 a.m. the same day, her family was broken into by a thief, who broke the safe and stole 400 million VND in cash and a mobile phone worth about 7 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the report of the incident, Do Luong District Police coordinated with Trang Son Commune Police to quickly deploy professional measures, follow the traces left at the scene, and identify the suspects.
After 3 hours of investigation and verification, the Investigation Police Agency of Do Luong District Police arrested Phan Van Phuong (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 5, Dong Son Commune (Do Luong) for the act of "Theft of property".
At the investigation agency, the subject confessed to all of his crimes. Accordingly, taking advantage of the time when Ms. X's family was away, the subject broke into the house, used a hammer to smash the safe and steal property.
To avoid detection, the suspect dispersed the evidence in many places. The investigation agency seized 350 million VND in cash and a mobile phone (evidence of the theft).
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency, Do Luong District Police are temporarily detaining Phan Van Phuong to continue investigating and recovering the remaining 50 million VND./.
