Fugitive arrested after more than 3 years on the run.
(Baonghean.vn) - While raising a young child under 36 months old, Vi Thi Thuong was subjected to a "prohibition from leaving her place of residence" but she fled the area and was arrested on May 23, 2021.
Previously, in 2018, Vi Thi Thuong (born in 1992), residing in Khe Nhan village, Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, committed the act of "illegally possessing narcotics" and was prosecuted; because she was raising a young child under 36 months old at the time, Thuong was released on bail by the authorities, however, Thuong fled the area with her child.

On April 9, 2018, the Investigation Police Department of Ky Son District issued a decision.wantedRegarding Vi Thi Thuong.
After more than three years of hiding in China, Vi Thi Thuong was discovered and arrested by the Chieu Luu commune police on May 23, 2021.
The suspect has now been handed over to the Ky Son District Police for handling according to regulations.
